Getting to Santa Barbara

If you are traveling into Santa Barbara by public transportation here are a few options.

Flying

Fly directly into the Santa Barbara Airport (SBA)
This full service regional airport has numerous flights per day on many of the major carriers.  It’s easy to get here from any place in the U.S.   Check options at www.kayak.com

Fly to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

• From here you can either rent a car at LAX and drive to Santa Barbara* (less than 100 miles)

• or take the Santa Barbara Airbus, which drops off at the Hyatt Hotel on the beach.

* If you are driving during the daylight hours, consider taking the scenic Coast Highway through Malibu.  Check your GPS for route details.

Train

AmTrak has a variety of options each day.  The Santa Barbara train depot is located close the recommended beach and downtown hotels.
